The movie has its own audience, with respect to its promos and posters. However, apart from the erotic side, the makers also focused on the suspense and thriller side to entice the audience. Let’s see how far the makers have gone well with respect to their product.
‘Wajah Tum Ho’ is a crime-thriller movie, blended with some erotic scenes in it. Siya (Sana Khan) and Ranvir (Gurmeet Choudhary) are couple and prominent lawyers in the city. Rahul (Rajniesh Duggal), who is a renowned businessman and owns a TV Channel, is a good friend of Siya and secretly loves her. One fine day, Rahul lands in a trouble, where someone hacks his channel and airs a live-murder on it. He now becomes a prime suspect in the eyes of a very clever cop, Sameer (Sharman Joshi).
While Siya (who is also an official legal head of Rahul’s TV Channel) takes the case of his dear friend Rahul for to defend and save him from this so-called conspiracy, Ranvir takes the case against Rahul and is making every attempt to land him in prison. Who is the real culprit? Why is that person doing that? Will Rahul truly gets convicted or will Siya eventually save him? Watch the movie to find out answers!
The story of the film has been nicely sketched out, where it is filled with a good amount of twists and turns. As the cops tries to find out the real culprit, the writer and director promises to offer a nail-biting thriller (in parts) that keeps the audience glued to their seats. Vishal Pandya, who has already impressed us with Hate Story 2 and Hate Story 3, performs decently here.
While the first half is notable enough to mark its presence, the second half lets down a bit with its over-the-top screenplay. Also while the first half lifts the plot with necessary suspense and thrilling ingredients, the second half focuses more on the conspiracy behind the evil act of live-murders. However, the less intriguing climax overall slides down the film to some extent.
Meanwhile, the movie is elegantly blended with some erotic and hot sequences, for which the makers didn’t disappointed to their special audience. Well, we all know how Vishal Pandya is quite expert in this arena and makes sure not to look vulgar even minutely. All the passionate scenes and songs are being blended well in the movie, for to make an ideal erotic-thriller movie.
Going by the performances, Sana Khan is absolutely looking hot in her new avatar. And while playing as a female lead for the first time here, the actress played her part quite well but still has a very long race to go. She has that potential to make it big as a performer, but just need a bit of polishing along with some good roles. Gurmeet Chaoudhary is already a heartthrob and has a great fan following with his chiseled body. He too plays his part well, along with Rajneish Duggal. Last but not the least, Sharman Joshi is as usual an excellent performer, and enacted the role of a suspicious cop very efficiently. Sherlyn Chopra is good in what she is best in her special appearance, and so does Zareen Khan in her item number.
Music of the film by Mithoon is already running chart-busters and goes with the sync in movie. Dialogues are decent (but sometimes unintentionally funny, cheesy and corny), Cinematography is first-rate, and Editing should have been a bit crisper to make it as a taut thriller.
So is it a paisa-vasool film? Yes, but to some extent! The makers have made sure to give a decent entertainment dosage, where the erotic and thriller quotient are being blended in a fine manner. On the whole, Wajah Tum Ho is a good-for-one-time watch, especially for the ones who loves to watch any suspense kind of movies.
